What we've been up too

Well it's been awhile since my last not so good post but here we go again sooner or later I'll get with it. Well on to better things we are now the Saumani 6! That's right four kids one dad and a tired mom (why is it always the mom who tired??? food for thought) but anyways on jan 30 little Myles came into our lives and he is a great joy to everyone. Anjie is in first grade and is love'n it ,Kassie not so much liking kindergarten or anything else for that matter but it will pass (that's what I keep telling myself when all she dose is cry) but she loves her little brother and trys to be his mom alot (which is not so fun for myles but he takes it well) oh yeah she got her first black eye yeah and anjie did it! Brenn in now almost three and weights as much as his seven and five year old sisters! But he's a joy most of the time too he loves to play Thomas and Cars oh yes and bowling on the Wii . Myles is now 3 months and weigh 15 pounds and is trying to figure out what his feet are and has just found his hands to alot of fun. Peter is still at SBS and is doing well he is thinking of going in to nursing . As for me I'm hanging in there and trying to be a good mom to all the kids (they really out number me now!)

For easter we had a hunt around the house for the eggs unfortunate we lost some and I had to hunt for them which wasn't as fun as hiding them.... So anyways the kids all looked great for church and we came home and had pete's brother and sister over and alot of kids WOW there were alot of them. But after that we all just sat and watched the ten commandments and ate some candy over all a great easter!

I'm not that good at this.....

So as far as trying to blog every week I think it's safe to say I'm not so good as this (taking the time to sit and tell everyone about our little family... So hopefully from this on I'll only get better. right?

Where to begin we are expecting our fourth child it's another boy much to the girls disappointment they wanted a girl and then later that day decided it was better to have a boy so that Brennen would leave them alone....they don't know that two brother is just as hard as one.

Everything is normal as can being pregnant, tired and barely sane but what can be done about it not a whole lot so only two more months to go due on the 29th of Jan (not soon enough)

Pete has been in school for one quarter and he actually likes it it's a surprise to him not so much to me. Of course the kids miss him when he's gone and I miss the help he gives me when he comes home but it's good to get him back in the swing of school. He has gotten a new position at work he is now over the receiving department which means more work and not the best pay but it's a great company and it's family friendly so it will do. So this Sunday he says to me I got released from my calling at church and got a new one I say what elder's Qourm president? His reply is no I'm now the teacher for the 17 & 18 year olds all I could say was good luck with that. Since I now teacher Relief Society on the four Sunday it makes life all the more interesting. I should be grateful it wasn't anything like bishop (never please) .

As for our beautiful Anjie she is now six almost seven yep.. I said seven and in the first grade and loves it so much. She likes math and is ok at spelling not her favorite her favorite thing is music class. She loves art and books (go figure?) Also dance class during the week and the weekly trips to the library. She's also very into the whole "baby" who she thinks should be named "sparkle" . And just tonight she has lost one of her front upper teeth which she wants to take to school so show teacher.

Kassie now there is a girl of a different color she is into everything including my jewelry and grandma's (more mine) . She'snow five and thinks her birthday is now of course and what dose she want rats that right RATS! Not the kind your thinking of though beanie baby ones two white ones to be exact which she now reminds me everyday all the time. ( I swear I gave birth to her but where dose she get these things?) She is also in school and likes it somewhat depends on the day.... Her favorite thing to do is bug her brother and run.. She is also taking dance and loves her teacher although sometimes I think maybe a sport would have been a better idea ( you'd have to watch her) The girls have their first concert on Dec 11 and it should be great to see them in their little outfits. And tonight she "helped" her sister loose her front tooth by kicking her in the face (what the heck?) So needless to say she's a handful !

Brennen is now a BIG boy of 2 he weighs 42 pounds and is as big as a 31/2 year old according to the doctor. He weighs as much as Kassie and is fast coming up on Anjie. He loves lighting McQueen and Mac (the truck) he doesn't know what to do with himself without the girls during the day while they are at school so he follows me around and is wanting to "help" momma, but as soon as Assie "kassie" and Annie "anjie" come home I am no longer needed (which is great time for me) but over all he has the small dog thing going on like you know when you have a big dog and it thinks it's a little dog well Brenn thinks he's a little one and wants to be treat as such (which I kind of like at times).

Overall We're doing good no big problems just busy little family with lots going on! I'll post some pics int he next couple of days so you all can see my little bunch!

WOW! What a weekend!

So this weekend was VERY busy.It started on Friday when Brennen decided to get up at 5:45 (why dose he do that) and wouldn't sleep so therefore I was up.. And being that I had a very busy Friday to deal with I thought oh wouldn't it be smart if I went shopping at WinCO (thinking back on it I now am shaking my head) so I packed up my baby and off the WinCo we went in (have you ever gotten the look when you have your baby with you and it can be either late or early but people give you the worst looks.) So in I go to the store only to get looks form every person in there, which at that hour was very annoying! I just want to say look he won't sleep and I can't now either so here we are, do you have a problem with that do you? As my hair is now not very pretty and my eye is kind of twitching I looked just great! So I finished my shopping and got home just in time to take Anjie to school and continue on with my very busy day. And later that same day Kassie decided to put the biggest drop of CHEWED GUM in Anjie's hair that's right her hair ! ( and for any of you that know Anjie she's not the tough one or the messy one). So what dose one do when there is gum in hair??? For me that was cut it out! But no to remove gum you should take Peanut Butter and rub it into the hair and then proceed to pull out the gum with your hands, that are now covered in peanut butter. As I'm doing this Anjie is crying and yelling never to buy Kassie gum ever ever again! And then Grandma says oh you have the reduced fat kind you need the other with all the lovely oil in it. At the exact moment in my head I'm saying yeah I knew the cause and you really could have told me that sooner mom but thanks anyways.
So on sat I took the girls to their first movie in the theater we saw The Chipmunks The Squeekwell which was very funny. When we got there we were early and so the girls played on the rocks out side. Then when we went in there were about I'd say five foot Chipmunks! So of course the girls wanted their picture with them. Their favorites were Anjie and Alvin and Kassie and Theodore. It was really cute. We were waiting for our friends "auntie" Hollie and "cousin" Jade to meet us there so we went in and waited, then when they got there Anjie and Jade sat together and Kassie sat with me or on me as it was. They loved the girls chipmunks. It was a good time for all you went.
After that we had to rush home and get ready for a birthday party at Little Gym and man those kids ran and jump and played as much as they could (which of course I loves because then they won't have to be rocked for bed!) ,but once Brennen saw the balloons it was over and the only thing on his mind was those blasted balloons. They had cake and sandwiches and loved every min of it. After that was over we went home and had a hour to just be home (loved it) .Andwe were off and running again to the Kindalls for a good-bye party for the Bradshaw's and the kids ran some more (yes) and watched "G Force" it's now one of their favorites. Then home for bed by 11 and up at 7 AM (why ??? Remember when you didn't have kids and sleeping in was like 10 now we're lucky to get to sleep passed 7:30) oh the joys of being parents.... Church and home for Family Home Evening and repeat all next week. That was a busy weekend..... The newest thing the girls are telling us is that mom needs to have two more babies one boy and one girl and it needs to done soon! Anjie is so convinced that she came crying to grandma and said mom needs to have the other two babes.......You know at this point I'm wondering did you know them in heaven and now you are telling me or how do you know this....Well we will have to wait to see!

2010

Wow! 2009 Went by fast. Brennen had his first birthday, He is now a even bigger boy weighing in at 32 pounds( which is 10 less then his five year old sister) he is making the girls lives trouble. He eats everything except vegies (we are still working on that) he has now broken every toilet in the house once from throwing things down them thus we have had to pull all three of them out to fix it! ( He's so Fun) Needless to say there is never a dull moment here. Kassie is in pre-school and less then happy about it. She would be outside all year round if I'd let her but because of all the cold weather she as had to spend most her day hidding from brennen (she is his fav playmate right now) who has taken it on himself to make her life painfull.She is still daddy's littel girl and jumps on him when he walks through the door every night. Anjie is in kindergarden and loves all the new friends she's made she's not so fond of the teacher, But loves the sub they have. She loves to sing anything and everything (not always on key) but she trys grandma and her went to the ward choir but anjie decided it wasn't for her so on to panio and singing lessons for her she loves the arts. Speaking of anjie she turns six on the 25th of this month and already is planning her party. oh it should be fun!! Peter is now the lead over recieving which means he' in charge of eveything that comes in to the shop (ie... parts) and has to make sure that the eight guys under him don't miss place them.He likes his job and the people that work with him it's a good company. Hopefully we'll be able to fiqure eveything out. As for me I'm working in my own salon it's steadly growing ever month and brings in alittle which is always a good thing. Other then that I'm being the busy mom and wife (which in it's self is a job all it's own ) it keeps me busy espically with brennen being so busy and into eveything he is my little shadow. Well that the year in a nutshell. One of my new years goal is to blog every week hopefully I'm up to the job only time will tell......

This Month Was Crazy

This month was nuts really it started out with anjie going to the hearing doctor and getting bad news about her hearing. Then on to work just not being up to what I thought it would be.. Kassie is now calling herself football and not always responding to anything else. Then I got two years closer to 30 which is not a good feeling, so I just tryed to ignore it and it!It is the weekend of Brennen's big birthday was even more crazy it goes as follows:
Friday at 10 PM we went shopping for all the food (which we all know is a lot) then try to clean the house because the case worker is coming on Sunday and we all know that we are not going to have the time on sat ,so up till two! Then sat starts grandma takes the girls to dance class ,meanwhile Pete and I keep cleaning, and load the baby, the food and the grill all into out little van drive to Tacoma. Then back home and too the park we go while making a quick stop for balloons.Then to the park to fight for parking and fight the wind and starting the grill only to get it going when all the in laws do. So we get all set up and people start coming and coming and coming (which I knew would happen but hey there is always hope right?) So we opened presents and have cake rush to get home and clean only to get home to all go to bed..GREAT.. On Sunday mom goes to church with anjie the rest of us stay home to make sure that everything is clean and ready. At 11:08 the caseworker come and talks to us for about 20min and leaves(ARE YOU KIDDING ME) and we all have cleaned every inch of the house , but a least it is done.
Then Pete and I are off to Pa'aga's party and home just in time to put the kids to bed and pass out! Oh yeah Happy Birthday to Pete! That's our month in a nut shell and it starts again in June..

Sunday at the Saumani's

Today was Crazy but a lot of fun. We started out rushed for church anyone who has ever meet at nine AM knows what I'm talking about.So we make it a little late but we're there and no one is dead or crying sooo victory to us... I end up "sitting in" for CTR 5 teacher, picture this me with about 7 little five year olds (I now love the people who work in the primary way more) so there I sit with two little girls on my lap not mine, but all the same. One says we need to schedule a play date for this week. OK I say how about Friday she replies that won't work with my schedule how about sat? I say OK I'll talk to you mom then she decides on Monday I agree to keep for going nuts the day goes on then at the end of church as her and her family are leaving she stay a little behind and whispers Monday won't work! How funny is that What our children pick up!
So we get home and rush to get he house clean with company coming over for dinner it's nuts! We get through dinner and everyone is good. So the day ends with everyone in bed and mom cleaning up the messes.....That's how it is suppose to be through right One Sunday down a million more to go!
